Dr. Lutz and Paleo
Our society is burdened with many very debilitating diseases
- obesity
- digestive problems (e.g. irritable bowel disease, a.k.a. IBD or IBS)
- metabolic syndrome
- autoimmune diseases
- arteriosclerosis
- heart disease
- diabetes type 1 and 2
- all chronic diseases -> THE diseases of Western countries!
- hypertension
- osteoporosisWe have a serious problem with medication usage that doesn't address how these diseases start.Dr. Wolfgang Lutz was a pioneer in the low carb understanding. His case studies have shown to be very provocative. In his book, Life Without Bread, he even talks about cancer and the high carb correlation. It is a must read.
Here is a paleo blog that also notes Dr. Lutz's wonderful understanding of diet and health.
