Why You Need Salt on a Low Carb Diet

When you are getting your blood sugar back in balance and insulin is more sensitive, the kidneys are going to dump dump dump excess fluids.  In this process, sodium is lost, as well as other minerals.

Making Paleo Practical

We bought a food slicer to reduce food waste.  It is such a plus.  We have plenty of sliced vegetables and meat on hand for quick meal making.  I can whip out an omlette or salad very quickly.  We don't buy expensive cold-cut meats anymore. Sometimes cold cuts are too salty and just gross tasting.  But real food always tastes better.
